Dr. Julija Radojičić, University of Niš, Serbia. DDS, PhD, Specialist in Orthodontics. Deals with cleft care on a broad basis, both in her scientific research as well as her clinical work. Provides orthodontic treatment to the majority of children born with cleft lip and/or palate, on the territory of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo. Is actively involved in improving the organization of cleft care in Serbia.
She is a participant of four European projects regarding cleft care, was the host of ESF (European Scientific Foundation) psychosocial workshop and the NisEUROCleftNet meeting 2016. She is a member of the board of the European Cleft Organisation as well as in the Core committee of COST Action 16234 –‘ European Cleft and Craniofacial Initiative for Equality in Care.
In February 2018, she was one of the European delegates at a meeting hosted by Sean Kelly, titled “Individuals and families with birth defects in Europe and the burden on inequalities” at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Will be the host of the upcoming first conference of COST Action 16234 in September, 2018 in Nis.
